Large pavement areas in cities such as shopping malls, park & rides and roadways create the largest stormwater outfall pollution problems. Now Xeripave technology can be economically installed in any area, without loss of land.

 

Filtering strips are placed across the water flow, or at the low point of pavement areas. They are filled with appropriate filtration media. Xeripave structural grates or pavers are installed as covers and land returns to normal use.

 

Stormwater runoff passes through the grates or pavers. All gross pollutants are kept on the surface while the runoff is captured and properly filtered.
